Sales Manager | Beaverton Kia

Metro-Portland volume import dealership, and the only Kia dealership on the Westside, is seeking an experienced, proven, strong, dynamic Sales Manager who is ready for a change, and has a One-Person background. This position shares responsibility for the profitability of both new and pre-owned departments, and for customer retention. The Manager who fills this role will be expected to uphold the highest ethical standards in every aspect of the job. We are interviewing now.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Meet with Sales Professionals to plan and implement objectives for achieving sales and gross profits

o Daily one-on-ones

o CRM notes/processes/follow up

Monitor the performance of the sales professionals, hold weekly sales meetings and conduct sales training

o Meet and greet process/CNA process

o Work the demo process

o Show numbers and graph with customers

o VALUE selling – non negotiating

Attend to customer complaints, ensure that a high level of customer satisfaction is obtained

Appraise trade-ins and present customers with a proposal in a professional manner

o Correct recon costs/market based trade appraisal/customer voucher

Monitor lead times and communicate with all customers; review leads everyday

Manage defector list from Kia

Responsible for training, motivating and managing Sales Department person

Negotiate, close and desk deals

Work within and enforce Dealership policies under the supervision of the General Sales Manager (or General Manager)

Monitor new units on the ground, sales history, inventory turn (75 day supply)

Daily action in CRM, work the processes with sales people

Create the monthly dealership sales forecasts

Other additional tasks as requested

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Proven leadership abilities

Demonstrate ability to develop and motivate successful sales teams

Experience as an Automotive Sales Manager, F&I Manager and/or Used Car Manager is preferred

Current and relevant experience (intermediate or above) and knowledge of computers and standard automotive applications and systems

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills a must including (but not limited to): Emotional Intelligence, Cohesion and Clarity, Friendliness, Confidence, Empathy, Respect, Listening, Open Mindedness

Time management skill set

Successful background in financial/budgeting role

Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
